My Story

Hi! I started raising Border Collies 2 years ago. Prior to that I raised Pembroke Welsh Corgis for 11 years . After losing my long time friend and companion Molly of 13 years I decided there could never be another corgi like her. That's when I returned to the breed I grew up with, the Border Collie. I was born and raised in the east central Illinois area on an Angus beef cattle farm where the collies were used to work the cattle and be family companions. My mother raised border collies for many years. I currently have 6 collies that share our home and have the run of our 11 acre mini farm. They are out and about with the 5 horses and barn. All of my collies have had genetic testing done through Paw Print Genetics. They have tested clear/negative on all abnormalities on the Border Collie panels. My goals are calm, respectful, happy, healthy dogs and puppies. Border Collies are smart, driven, and can be educated for herding, agility, and show. It all takes time and a lifetime commitment.
